‘Halloween Party’ Fundraiser on 1-Nov-2008

The WUSC at Trent University ‘Halloween Party’ is coming up, so plan now to be there! The party will be held on Saturday, 1st November, at the 2nd Floor Lounge and will go on until 2:00am on Sunday. The general cost of admission is $4, but with a costume you only pay $3. All proceeds go towards supporting WUSC-related initiatives.
WUSC Gears launches

In an effort to stimulate and facilitate new ideas for WUSC at Trent University, we have launched what we call WUSC Gears. Through WUSC Gears, members are free to suggest or brainstorm novel ways of keeping WUSC active and relevant to the campus community. It does not matter whether you are a new or existing member of WUSC; we value each and everyone’s opinions and would love to hear your great ideas! Let’s get the gears rolling!

Classes for the new 2008-2009 academic year at Trent University have started and you are probably busy getting readings done, purchasing your books and adjusting/readjusting to university life. WUSC would like to welcome you back to school and hope that you have a successful year at Trent University!
Look out for upcoming WUSC general and executive meetings. If you are a new student or just interested in being part of the organization, please attend a general meeting where you will receive more information about what we have planned for this year. Details on the time and venue of the meeting will follow shortly, so keep checking our website or subscribe to our RSS feed in order to stay updated. WUSC at Trent’s Clubs & Groups Day

Today was Trent University’s ‘Clubs & Groups Day’ where all the campus organizations set up information booths in front of the Bata Library to showcase what their group is all about. WUSC was there and we managed to gain the interest of several first-year students who were present for ISW. Thanks to all those who volunteered at our information booth and braved the scorching hot sun!
If you are one of the students who placed your e-mail address on our sign-up list you will receive additional information shortly. You can choose to be removed from our mailing list at any time if you so wish. For the time being, enjoy the rest of ISW, orientation and getting your courses and class times sorted out. We look forward to your participation within WUSC and wish you a great semester here at Trent University!
