Go mobile with TrentWUSC.org

WUSC at Trent University would like to announce that our website is now compatible with mobile browsers! As a result, you can keep up to date with the latest news coming from TrentWUSC.org wherever you go as long as your cellular phone has internet access.
Because data transfer over a cellular network is limited, the version of our website that you access through your phone has been optimized for such networks. Therefore, you will not see the website as you would through a computer’s internet browser with all the fancy bells and whistles, but everything else will remain the same.
By default, any mobile browser should be redirected to the mobile-friendly version of our website. However, if you would like to get the proper link directly visit m.trentwusc.org, enter your phone number (include 1 + area-code) and press ‘Send to phone’. A free SMS message will be sent to your phone with the appropriate link for mobile access. It is as simple as that!
Our gallery is open!

The WUSC at Trent University image gallery is now open! Go check it out right now!
The gallery currently contains only a few images from the World Water Day Symposium that was held two weeks ago, but more picture are pouring in and they should be up for all to see. If you have pictures from any WUSC event and would like to contribute to our gallery, please tell us about it!
Claim your committee’s TrentWUSC webmail account

This is a general reminder to all committee coordinators that your committee’s TrentWUSC webmail account has still not been claimed. An e-mail was released from the IT-Committee concerning these accounts during the Fall 2007 semester and so far, only 4 individuals have responded.
If you are a committee coordinator and did not receive this e-mail, please contact the IT-Committee (it@trentwusc.org) for them to resend it to you.
Website registration is now open!

After moving our website we had to abandon a few things so as to make way for newer technologies. One of them was breaking our user registrations which, although could have been transferred, would have been quite difficult to re-establish with our new system.
Therefore, if you registered with the WUSC at Trent-U website some time before now, you will need to re-register in order to take advantage of the many website features. You are free to register with the same information as you did before. When you click on the “Register” link (see ‘Meta’ section in sidebar) your information will be processed through the newly integrated Forum, but will give you site-wide privileges (with the exception of TrentWUSC Webmail). These privileges include commenting on news updates posted on the front page and taking part in active discussion within the forum!
Please note that after completing the registration form you will be e-mailed your username, password and an activation link. Please read all instructions carefully and if you experience any problems please feel free to contact us.
We have a new site!

Yay! We now have our own shared hosting plan that is more reliable than our previous free plan. The site now loads much faster and is guaranteed to be up close to 100% of the time! You can read more about it in the forum.
Have you noticed that we now have our very own domain? It’s trentwusc.org and the good thing about it is that you can still get to it using trentwusc.co.nr! Also note that our RSS feed link has been updated.
Some parts of the site are still under construction, but will be completed soon. Please pardon our construction!
