Services
The TrentWUSC.org Services are a group of online applications that WUSC at Trent University committee executives can use in their day-to-day WUSC-related tasks. We hope that you make full use of them and that they allow you to get things done efficiently and effectively.
Please note that the Services are not physically hosted on this website. Instead, they are hosted by Google Apps, but are still associated with the trentwusc.org domain name. Much of what you experience within the Services will be similar to that of using Gmail.
SERVICES FAQ
- For whom are the ‘Services’ intended?
The Services are intended for WUSC at Trent University committee executive members. Every executive member should have access to their committee’s account. Account access should never be shared between two or more individuals. However, an executive member may choose to elect an overseer of the account through which correspondences are sent as being representative of the committee. - What is the purpose of the ‘Services’?
The primary purpose for correspondences sent through the Services is to have an official source for communication. E-mails sent through the Services become official because they carry the trentwusc.org domain name within the e-mail address. It gives an appearance of professionalism to the work that we do within WUSC. Other applications apart from e-mail are also provided. - What features are included under the ‘Services’?
Every account has independent access to e-mail access, a calender for reminders and an area for you to create documents directly through your web browser (just to name a few). You can also share access to parts of your account with the accounts of other committee executives. - What are the security recommendations?
If you are responsible for one of these accounts, please keep the password private. When you first sign in you will be prompted to change the password. We recommend that you choose one you can remember while at the same time composed of letters, numbers and/or symbols. Do not leave your account unattended at public computer terminals, always log out after each session and do not allow your web browser to store your username and password. - How do I get support if I need help?
In the event that you encounter any difficulties with a particular feature or are having problems, send an e-mail to with ‘[SUPPORT TICKET]‘ in the subject line. We will do our best to assist you.
