Prepare for the 63rd WUSC Annual General Assembly

WUSC AGAAs many WUSC members already know, the 63rd Annual General Assembly in Ottawa is fast approaching. This year, the AGA will take place from November 13th – 15th, 2009, under the theme ‘Peace and Conflict: Effective Development in Fragile Places’. WUSC at Trent University would like to urge new and existing members to take advantage of this opportunity by attending this event. You will be able to meet other WUSC members from across Canada, learn more about current issues in international development through the Research Forum and keynote speaker and participate in developing WUSC’s mission and governance.

New job vacancy at WUSC in Ottawa

WUSC in Ottawa is currently looking for someone to fill the position of Program Assistant for Gender Equality and Environmental Awareness. The Program Assistant will be responsible for working with key WUSC staff members to advance the organization’s commitments on promoting environmental sustainability and gender equality. He/she will spend approximately half of their time on each theme and will report to the Manager of Program Development.
