SheaButter Thanks to all the people and students who participated in our Buy Into Change: Ethical Purchasing Campaign. The campaign was carried out during the first weeks of November. This campaign aims to make fair trade a global practice through ethical purchasing at the local level. We were able to inform people about the importance of Fair Trade, about our WUSC local committee at Trent University, and about the other campaigns we will carry out this year, such as Her Challenge Your Challenge.

Tabling for two weeks, one outside of Bata Library, and the other outside of the Wenjack Theatre in Otonabee College, we had Shea butter beauty products to offer. The Shea butter is produced by local women in Burkina Faso, in West Africa. Soaps, Lip balms and body butter turned a perfect gift for the holidays! thanks again to the volunteers and to the people who stopped by and asked about WUSC and helped us fundraise and promote fair trade.
